This four year old stallion is typey and eye-catching. He is out of Essteema (Essteem x Menascha) the first filly ever to win the Triple Crown, following in her father Essteem's footsteps. Emir's sire is the magnificent Scottsdale Champion, FS Bengali (Kubinec x Om El Sanadiva).
Emir has good bone, body and conformation. Like all his grandfather's progeny, he moves like a steam train and has that special kind of magic.
We enjoyed a successful season on the show circuit 2006 and are looking forward to his first foals 2007.

2005 at the Racetrack in Warsaw
Most polish horses go to the track in Warsaw as 3 year olds to pursue a career on the turf. The object is not necessarily to win races, the breeders are examining a horse’s ability to carry weight over distance with speed, and their soundness and capacity for quick recovery. Those that pass the tests are retained for breeding on the stud farms.
EMIR IBN ESSTEEMA spent 2005 on the race track in
Warsaw with his trainer Malgorzata Lojek- a very passionate horsewoman and one of the best in her field. He proved himself on the track with good results and retired sound at the end of last year.
It was really important to us that EMIR was able to prove himself as a versatile horse, we were also advised of the good effect racing can have on encouraging the natural movement of the horse to really shine through and become established. Racing helps a young colt channel its energy and gives it a job, not only providing a thorough training in stamina but also giving the horse the discipline and experience required to make the transition from colt to stallion, a smooth one.
BREEDING INFORMATION
EMIR IBN ESSTEEMA was available to only 6 special mares in 2006 via natural breeding as well as frozen semen from Twemlows. We are delighted to announce that all these wonderful mares are in foal! We really look forward to seeing the first progeny on the ground in 2007!
